We try to engage with the public in a range of ways to suit the interests and needs of the group we are working with. Whether in schools or on public events we love to explain the craft skills, techniques and uses of ancient tools and artefacts, whilst offering the chance to handle replicas. We look at the different characteristics of materials such as flint, pot, and textiles and how these influenced daily life in prehistoric times. Below are some of our previous outreach events, and current projects.
